You will get a chance to work with a variety of clientele including mining, hospitality, construction, and property development. You will have access to DFK ANZ and DFK international which will help to hone your skills and will provide the opportunity to network with like-minded professionals across the globe.
Your main duties and responsibilities will include:
• Preparation of financial statements and income tax returns for companies and trusts, partnerships & individuals
• Prepare, oversee and advise on BAS, CGT, Div7A, FBT, GST, Payroll Tax and statutory reporting requirements
• Assisting with tax planning, entity setups etc
• Assist to manage client relationships
• Liaise effectively with external and internal stakeholders
• Mentor and review work for junior members of the staff
• Ensure workflow efficiency, accuracy, and deadlines are met
THE SUCCESSFUL APPLICANT
• Will need to have 5+ years’ in an Australian public practice firm
• Be working towards or completed your CA or CPA
• Excellent ability to build rapport and maintain client relationships
• High level of written and verbal communication essential
• Ability to identify opportunities to improve the client’s financial position
• Good team player that is capable of working with teams at all levels within the firm
• Highest standards of ethics, confidentiality, and professionalism
• Working knowledge of Xero, XPM, and FYI is desirable but not essential
