Job Description

Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Accountant to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy of our accounting records, managing complex journal entries, overseeing the monthly close process, and preparing detailed financial reports and budgets. Additionally, the Senior Accountant will create and update cash flow analyses, forecasts, dashboards, and other analytical documents for client presentations on a monthly or quarterly basis.

Key Responsibilities:

Review of Accounting for Accuracy: Ensure all accounting records are accurate and comply with applicable standards and regulations.
Entry of Complex Journal Entries: Manage and record complex financial transactions, including deferred revenue, intercompany transactions, and other specialized entries.
Monthly Close Process: Lead and oversee the monthly close process, ensuring timely and accurate completion.
Financial Reporting: Prepare and present monthly financial reports, providing insights and analysis to support decision-making.
Annual Budget Creation: Develop comprehensive annual budgets, incorporating financial projections and strategic goals.
Cash Flow Analysis and Forecasts: Create and update cash flow analyses, forecasts, and dashboards, providing detailed insights for clients.
Client Presentations: Prepare and deliver monthly or quarterly updates and analytical documents for client presentations, highlighting key financial metrics and trends.
Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA or equivalent certification preferred.
Minimum of 3 years of experience in accounting, with a focus on financial reporting, budgeting, and complex journal entries.
Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle) and advanced Excel skills.
Strong understanding of accounting principles, regulations, and standards.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present complex financial information clearly and concisely.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team, managing multiple priorities and deadlines.

Working Hours:
CST Business Hours
Willing to work on holidays and weekends (There are paid PTOs available)
