We are a leading financial services firm committed to providing innovative solutions to our clients. We are currently seeking an experienced Fringe Benefit Tax Specialist with expertise in Australian tax regulations to join our dynamic team.

Position Overview:

As a Fringe Benefit Tax Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in guiding our clients through the intricacies of fringe benefit taxation, with a specific focus on Australian regulations. Your responsibilities will include analyzing, planning, and implementing strategies to minimize tax liabilities related to fringe benefits while ensuring compliance with the Australian Tax Office (ATO) guidelines.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Conduct thorough reviews of client fringe benefit programs, specifically tailored to Australian tax laws, identifying potential tax liabilities, and optimizing opportunities.
2. Provide expert advice on Australian fringe benefit tax regulations, ensuring clients remain well-informed and compliant.
3. Collaborate with clients and internal teams to develop and implement effective strategies for minimizing fringe benefit tax liabilities within the Australian regulatory framework.
4. Stay updated on changes in Australian tax laws and regulations related to fringe benefits and communicate their impact to clients and internal stakeholders.
5. Prepare and submit accurate and timely fringe benefit tax returns in accordance with ATO requirements.
6. Assist in developing training programs to educate clients and internal staff on best practices for managing fringe benefit tax in Australia.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
2. CPA certification preferred.
3. Proven experience (at least 4 years) as a Fringe Benefit Tax Specialist with a focus on the Australian market.
4. In-depth knowledge of Australian tax laws and regulations related to fringe benefits.
5. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
6. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
7. Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
