About our Company

We are a short term rental property management company (airbnb, vrbo, etc) that is growing at a fast pace. Currently we have over 50 properties, which falls under multiple LLC’s

Bookkeeper Job Description:

-Record day-to-day financial transactions, including sales, purchases, receipts, and payments. (multiple companies)
-Perform bank reconciliations and ensure timely resolution of discrepancies.
-Process accounts payable and accounts receivable in Quickbooks.
-Quickbook PRO
-Process vendor and labor invoices.
-Assist with budgeting and forecasting processes.
-Track incoming payments.
-Prepare and submit timely and accurate financial reports, such as profit and loss statements and balance sheets.
-Monitoring accounts for fraudulent activity.
-Notify senior staff of any accounting errors.
-Bookkeeper will closely work with the supervisor/owner
-Handle telephone inquiries, email, filing, and other office duties as needed.

Job Requirements:

-At least 3 years of experience as a Bookkeeper or in a similar accounting role.
-At least 3 years of using accounting software, such as QuickBooks Online (QBO), Quickbooks Desktop, Spreadsheet, or similar.
-Proficiency in using Microsoft Office Suite and Google Suites (especially docs and excel).
-Strong knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP).
-Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record-keeping.
-Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment and a Go getter
-Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
-Effective communication and interpersonal abilities.
-Must be fluent in English verbal and written
-Work hours U.S Eastern hours.
-MUST be super responsive during work hours (if not, can lead to termination)
-Must have experience in preparing financial records for tax returns.
-Must be able to keep owner’s books clean at all times
-When books are done, may be asked to work on some admin tasks and guest communication, or other tasks, if needed
-We prefer someone who is very tech savvy
