We are seeking a FULL-TIME superstar Senior Accountant Virtual Assistant to provide support to our growing team! We are a North American based firm who is seeking an experienced Accounting professional who strives to succeed and is willing to learn. This role is FULL-TIME at 40 hrs per week/160 hrs per month). MUST have experience completing Canadian tax files.

Duties/Responsibilities:
As a Senior Accountant Virtual Assistant, you will be responsible for:
-Preparation and completion of files, financial statements and personal tax returns
-Bookkeeping engagements using Caseware, Quickbooks, QBO
-Communicating well with Managers and Partners
-Preparation of personal tax returns and other government returns
-Following-up with appropriate government agencies on questions
-Providing assistance to clients with various accounting issues as required

-Working Hours: Monday to Friday 9AM – 5pm PST (12AM-8AM PHILIPPINES TIME ZONE)

Job Requirements:
-A professional level of written/spoken English
-Education: Accounting degree
-Experience: 3+ years of experience in a Senior Accounting role (preferred if you hold a CPA)
-You are familiar with Accounting software (Caseware and QBO)
-Working graveyard is an absolute must, you must be comfortable working in a North American time zone (9AM – 5PM EST TIME ZONE // 9PM-5AM PHILIPPINES TIME ZONE)
-MUST have a clear and strong internet connection with a BACK-UP GENERATOR if you are working from your home office (minimum 50 Mbps)
-Must provide your own laptop/work equipment
-Experience with preparing T4’s
-Strong computer literacy including effective working skills of Microsoft Excel.
-Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
-Ability to work with minimal supervision.
