Senior Accountant Virtual Assistant
The Hope House is a medical facility that works with individuals who are battling substance abuse addiction. Our team of doctors, nurses, and therapists work with our clients to help them recover from the addiction and live a fulfilling life. We are looking for a part-time Senior Accountant to assist with bookkeeping, month end financials, and other accounting tasks.

Senior Accountant Job Responsibilities:

– Ensures the integrity of accounting information by recording, verifying, consolidating, and entering transactions.
– Prepares and records asset, liability, revenue, and expenses entries by compiling and analyzing account information.
– Maintains and balances accounts by verifying, allocating, posting, and reconciling transactions and resolving discrepancies.
– Maintains general ledger by transferring subsidiary accounts, preparing a trial balance, and reconciling entries.
– Summarizes financial status by collecting information and preparing balance sheet, profit and loss, and other statements.
– Assists external audit by analyzing and scheduling general ledger accounts and providing information for auditors.
– Secures financial information
– Protects organization’s value by keeping information confidential.
– Works with billing team to post insurance collections and cash collections

Virtual Assistant Responsibility:
– Organize database of clients
– Update Census sheet each morning
– Assign financial census data each morning

Work Hours & Benefits:
– This is a part time role for 3 to 4 hours per day.
– The time availability needed is anytime that works for the employee between Monday – Friday from 9am CST to 2pm CST.
– 13th month bonus for great work

Experience Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance
5-10 years’ experience in accounting/finance
CPA preferred
Experience in working with multiple legal entities under different legal umbrellas
Experience with financial reporting requirements
