We are on the lookout for a highly experienced Senior Accountant with a comprehensive background in audit, and general accounting practices. This remote, full-time opportunity is ideal for an overseas professional eager to take on a central role in our expansion, with the potential to grow into a managerial position overseeing our accounting operations.

Key Responsibilities:

Month-End and Year-End Closing:

Manage the month-end and year-end close process, ensuring accurate and timely recording of all financial transactions.
Conduct thorough account reconciliations and adjust journal entries to reflect the correct financial position.
Prepare detailed financial reports and statements, analyzing for variances and providing insights on financial status.

Audit & Assurance Services:
Lead audit engagements, ensuring they are conducted in accordance with the highest standards of auditing and in line with regulatory requirements.
Assess and improve internal controls, risk management, and governance processes.

General Accounting & Financial Management:
Maintain accurate and comprehensive financial records and general ledgers.
Manage all aspects of bookkeeping, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, invoicing, and payroll.

Client Tax Advisory & Management Accounting:
Support clients in budgeting, financial forecasting, and strategic planning to enhance financial performance and tax efficiency.

Qualifications:
Experience working with professional services and other businesses with manual invoice data and complicated contracts
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance; Master’s degree or MBA preferred.
CPA certification is required.
At least 7 years of accounting experience, with a focus on audit with time spent at a Big 4 accounting firm.
Experience with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, NetSuite, Wave).
C1 level or higher proficiency in English.
Demonstrated expertise in managing full-cycle accounting and tax filing processes.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
A strong sense of ethics, confidentiality, and professionalism.
Ability to work independently, prioritize effectively, and meet deadlines.
