And we’re looking for a rockstar Amazon PPC Advertising Manager to support us in this expansion phase. Our PPC advertising manager will be responsible for running about 7-9 client accounts in addition to support the agency in creating new SOP’s (standard operating procedures) from which we will train our future team with.
Being a newer agency, we have a need for someone very unique. This Amazon PPC Manager role requires extensive experience in managing Amazon PPC for multiple client accounts as well as a history of leading a team in PPC. Key Responsibilities:
1) A strong background in PPC management:
• Demonstrate an ability to be the primary advertising specialist on at least 8-10 accounts.
• Demonstrate an ability to develop, implement, maintain and grow client KPI’s.
• Be able to effectively reduce wasted ad spend and reduce ACOS.
• A strong understanding of how Amazon PPC and listing optimisation are deeply connected.
• Be able to conduct PPC Management via Excel Sheets – with a proven ability to manage client spend profitably.
• Analysis of Amazon Data and Brand Analytics data to find trends, relationships and opportunities to expand.
• Analysis of Sales trends and inventory.
• Strong understanding of Amazon Seller Central.
2) Have experience in leading teams of people in PPC:
• Understands the SOPs needed to operate a PPC team.
• Can support in writing these SOPs from the ground up. Deep understanding of how to optimise client accounts systematically and strategically.
• Natural leadership qualities that helps teams to develop and grow.
• Training skills that naturally support new employees to learn and grow within our business.
Qualifications:
• Must have an ‘Amazon Ads Certification’ and other courses welcomed.
• Must have at least 2 years of experience in Amazon search engine marketing / PPC.
• Must have knowledge of budgeting and forecasting for campaigns.
• Must be comfortable using Excel and Google Sheets.
• Must understand, create and use Excel Pivot tables Vlookup() functions.
• Must understand how to filter data.
• Must be able to create reports to send to clients each week on ad performance.
• A history of working with and creating SOPs is a big benefit.
The ideal candidate should be very comfortable with using Excel and Google sheets. We use Excel and Google Sheets for:
• the analysis of Amazon PPC data to determine how much to bid on and which keywords we should develop cost efficient PPC campaigns for.
• Analysis of Google AdWords campaigns to find the relevant cost effective keywords (nice to have but not a required skill).
• Analysis of Amazon data to ensure that our products are ranking and finding new keywords to target.
• Analysis of Amazon Sales data to determine how much inventory to send into Amazon.
About Us
We are an Australian based Amazon Agency from Brisbane. We also own and operate our own Private Label Amazon Brand, selling on Amazon USA for over 3 years. We sell physical products: our own brand of private label products. We are currently a smaller agency and looking to hire the right people to facilitate the growing needs of our business. We are looking to grow our team of Filipino staff over the next few years and the right candidate will be leading a team of PPC specialists in the future and we continue to hire and grow.
