Qualifications and Skills
• Excellent verbal and written English communication;
• having a university degree in Accounting;
• having worked in a professional service business preferably with 5+ years’ Australian accounting and tax experience in a similar role;
• great attention to detail;
• ability to identify & resolve problems and meet strict deadlines;
• proficient computer skills (Office 365, etc.);
Tasks for the Role
You will be working within a team environment as well as independently on a wide range of accounting, tax and CFO advisory work, including:
• managing general administrative tasks and corporate compliance;
• managing bookkeeping & payroll activities on a regular basis;
• Analysing business performance and producing quarterly reports for business clients;
• assisting in preparing financial statements & business tax returns (e.g. company tax return, individual tax return, etc.), BAS and Taxable Payments Reporting;
• preparing and lodging various business registration forms;
