I am a business owner looking for a full-time BigQuery SQL Developer who can operate independently and bring creative solutions to the table. You should be better at your job than I could ever be, capable of identifying improvements and implementing solutions without constant guidance.
+ Must-Have Skills
– Translate Postgres SQL and improve SQL queries for BigQuery.
– Develop and manage processing workflows using Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services.
– Implement partitioning and clustering strategies to improve query performance.
– Handle large amounts of data accurately.
– Work with the founding team to add new data sources.
– Keep our data systems running smoothly and give regular updates.
Skills You Need:
– Proficient English speaker comfortable with talking, writing, and reading.
– At least 3 years of experience working from home as a SQL Developer or Data Engineer.
What We’re Looking For:
– Proven track record of taking initiative and ownership of responsibilities.
– Great at figuring things out on your own, considering yourself a “10X engineer”.
– Able to make decisions about how to build and improve our software.
– Available to work US PST business hours (9am – 5pm PST, Monday – Saturday).

– We believe great work deserves great compensation but this means we can only offer a lower fixed rate + equity (ownership – with cliffs and vesting periods) to compensate for the short term
