Senior Bookkeeper

We are an Australian Bookkeeping Company with a large client base looking for a senior bookkeeper.
You will have a minimum of 3 year hands on experience in the field of bookkeeping / Accounting. While there will be some training given we require the successful candidates to possess a minimum level of skills as per below.

*** Must have achieved a minimum education level of Diploma in Accounting
* Xero Proficiency – Medium to high level
* Australian GST laws – Medium to high level
* Bookkeeping Fundamentals – Understanding of Debits and Credits – High Level
* Bookkeeping Fundamentals – Understanding the Chart of Accounts – High Level
* General Ledger Reviews and Data accuracy Review exposure
* BAS and IAS preparation desired but we can train you

This role is for full time 40 Hours per week during Australian Eastern Standard times based on the NSW TimeZone.
This role is best suited to an applicant that is very confident in their abilities, requires little training and has perhaps already worked in a supervisory role

This role is with a view to move from Bookkeeper to Supervisor. The initial role of bookkeeping will be to understand the client work and our systems. The supervisor role will be to teach and mentor another bookkeeping while reviewing data accuracy, BAS and analysing clients business performance.
