We are looking to hire senior bookkeepers to join our team. This is a long-term commitment and a full-time position.

Successful candidates will be required to complete a bookkeeping before employment starts.
Tasks and Responsibilities
• Support the team in delivering outstanding bookkeeping and accounting services to clients based in Canada in a manner that upholds the integrity of the Firm while completing all tasks and meeting all deadlines.
• Work on new client QuickBooks files, bring accounts up to date and fix errors following the instructions and priorities indicated by the Team Leader.
• Ensure that all client work is up to date and done accurately and consistently and is per our bookkeeping systems.
• Provide secondary support to other clients when the primary bookkeeper is on leave.
• Assist in processing more difficult transactions for other bookkeepers and support less experienced bookkeepers with technical questions.
• Communicate with Team Leader as needed regarding all clients to keep them in the loop
• Complete the following task for all assigned clients, including
1. cleaning up errors across all accounts in the QuickBooks general ledger, general settings and payroll settings;
2. provide ongoing updates on the progress of work and gaps in information required from the client.
3. Update QuickBooks Practice Manager with relevant information for all assigned clients and tasks to enable meaningful, regular and informed communication with them practice-wide
Qualifications
• Five plus years experience as a bookkeeper or accountant; at least two years experience using QuickBooks Online;
• Stay updated with all core software updates and maintain QuickBooks Online certification yearly.
• Ability to seek assistance when you are unsure or unfamiliar with a task or problem
• Great interpersonal skill
• Great team working skill
• Strong analytical and problem-solving
Software Skills
• Ability to use QuickBooks Online
• Ability to use Xero (90% of Clients are on QuickBooks Online )
• Ability to use Microsoft Products, especially MS Teams
Home office requirements:

Working Hours: 8 AM to 5 PM PST
