ABOUT YOUR ROLE:
As a Senior Business Development Engineer, you will be required to explore a new market segment and promote company products. You shall be responsible for driving sales growth and profitability for the assigned market segment.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:
• The role will be reporting direct to the General Manager.
• Your responsibilities would consist of: Achieve business growth targets set by the General Manager and potential customers and prospects and determine the target customer base.
• Create visit plans for prospective and existing customers, prioritize key companies to visit.
• Promote products, follow up on offers, and provide feedback in preparing forecasts and budgets for assigned scope or territory.
• Demonstrate a unified perspective when necessary, while primarily focusing on own product responsibility.
• Contribute positively to the development and maintenance of operational procedures and quality assurance systems.

WHAT WE WILL BE LOOKING FOR:
• Possess a background in Electrical & Electronics engineering, Mechatronics, or Mechanical.
• Preference given to candidates with experience in engineering sales, and the adhesive industries.
• At least 2 years of experience in sales of industrial consumables.
• Proficient in both written and spoken English and fluent in the local language.
• Willingness to travel frequently within Malaysia or within Philippines.
• Must be proactive and self-motivated with a high sense of urgency, accountability and responsibility.
