We are continually hiring talented content writers, however, with our fast-paced nature of daily content creation, we need the last line of defense – a Senior Content Editor, before each content piece is published.

In short, we’re looking for a talented Senior Content Editor to ensure each piece of content that has already been written, meets our high quality standards before it is officially published.
You will be making any last minute changes, making sure each content piece is as perfect as it can be (following our process), before signing off and giving your stamp of approval that it is ready to publish.

Join us as a Senior Content Editor and become an essential cornerstone in upholding our various brand voices. Your impeccable attention to detail, linguistic prowess, and knack for molding raw written copy into polished masterpieces will be at the core of our content production operations.
– Own Your Role: Review, edit, and refine content that was already written by our Team of Content Writers, to align with our brand voice, style, and guidelines. Your linguistic excellence and unparalleled attention to detail will dictate the final quality of each content piece before it is published.
– Lead the Editorial Content Production Process: Drive our content production calendar, ensuring punctual delivery of high-quality content. Your command over timelines and quality control will be the backbone of our content creation and marketing strategy.
– Become a Collaborative Force: Work closely with our Content Writing Team to build coherent, compelling content narratives across various industry niches. Your ability to weave words into engaging content that ranks in Google will be our storytelling strength.
– Boost Our Visibility: Utilizing tools like SurferSEO or equivalent, optimize written content for search engine optimization (SEO) in Google to increase engagement and visibility. Your writing and editing skills in strategic keyword placement, when to use H1, H2, H3 tags, adding relevant authority links, and internal link building, will ensure the content ranks.
– Staying Flexible and Open to Learning: Our philosophy is that each content piece needs to rank well on Google to maximize exposure and reach. You do not need to be an SEO expert, as we can show you these important, but simple adjustments in our complete content production process.
– Analyze for Excellence: Use your detailed editing eye and analytical prowess to measure content effectiveness, provide improvement recommendations, and ensure our content output process is always evolving in efficiency and effectiveness.
– Stay Ahead of the Curve: Stay abreast of content writing and content creation industry trends and emerging topics, inform our content strategy, and keep our brands fresh, relevant, and impactful. Your thirst for knowledge and innovation will guide our future content production process.
Must-Have Qualifications You Need to Join Us:
– Experience: Minimum of 3 to 5+ years in editing, writing, or a related role within a fast-paced, digital-first environment. Balance of daily quality and quantity of content pieces to be finalized for publishing.
– Individual Star and Team Player: A collaborative team player who values the success of the whole team, in addition to their own success.
– Possible Titles: Not required, but if you had one of these titles now, or in the past, it might be a plus. Online Content Editor, Marketing Content Editor, News Editor, Digital Content Editor, Copy Editor, Proofreader / Proofreading, or similar title.
– Hands On Skills: You do not have to write content from scratch, our Content Writing Team will be doing that. You need to have been a writer before, and possess a detailed trained eye, to make on the spot written improvements to each content piece as needed.
– Educational Background: Not necessary, but highly preferred, a Bachelor’s degree in English, Journalism, Communications, Teaching, or a related field.
– Communication Skills: Must speak, read, and write fluently in English. No exceptions. And, have exceptional English written and verbal skills, with a profound understanding of storytelling techniques.
– Language Proficiency: Excellent command over the English language, in written and spoken word, grammar and style nuances, etc.
– Technical Skills: Proven experience with content management systems like WordPress, Google Docs and Sheets, Airtable, Grammarly, SurferSEO, other Content Brief software, social media platforms, and other online tools are a plus.
– Project Management: Demonstrated ability to juggle multiple projects, prioritize effectively, and pay meticulous attention to detail.

– Writing / Editing Assessment: Unfortunately, we’ve had some past candidates completely lie and misrepresent their experience and skills. Therefore, in order for us to see that you have the minimum writing and content editing skills needed, you will be required to take a brief skills assessment test. This is not negotiable. If you are not willing to do that, you will not be a good fit for us.
– Compensation: When responding, give us an overview of your background. Let us know what your weekly salary range requirements would be in USD $ (US Dollars), to start for the 30 day probationary period, and then ongoing long-term. Let us know these two figures, so we can better gauge if your realistic compensation requirements will be a fit for us.
– Interview: If you take the time to follow directions, can pay attention to detail, and pass the brief skills assessment test, we will invest the time to interview you over Zoom or Skype. We are looking for at least 5 to 10 individual Senior Content Editors to fill these key positions. This is due to our continued explosive growth and number of company brands we have.
– 30 Day Paid Trial: Assuming all goes well up to this point, and to ensure we can work well together long term, we offer you a probationary 30 day paid trial period.
– Long-Term: After 30 days, assuming all went well and we see we can continue working together, we’ll finalize a long-term working agreement with you.
