The growing “sharing economy” trend has turned the outdoor equipment industry on its head.
With fewer people purchasing and owning outdoor equipment – equipment brands, retailers, and even local governments are scrambling to create convenient and affordable rental experiences to facilitate the public’s participation in outdoor sports.

is a self-service recreational equipment rental platform that makes it easy to roll out equipment rental programs, with no staff required.

We manufacture, deploy, and operate app-connected rental lockers in popular outdoor spaces that enable anyone to rent equipment on demand, right at the point of use, with a touch of a button on the mobile app.

Our first product is a self-service kayak rental station (think kayak vending machine) that uses Bluetooth and cellular technology to enable the public to scan a QR code and unlock and rent a kayak by the water’s edge.

Our initial focus is on local governments – helping small and mid-sized cities launch new recreational programs without having to dedicate staff.

THE JOB

We are looking for a customer-facing business professional with a broad range of skills and experiences to support our growing list of high-value government customers and ensure smooth and efficient operations.

You will be responsible for:
onboarding new customers, including conducting demos and presentations over Zoom.
recruiting, managing, and supporting 20-30 mechanics who service our equipment.
Collaborating with our customer support and operations team to resolve urgent customer support issues
ordering / shipping equipment and supplies to fulfill operational needs.

MUST HAVES
Excellent English–language written and verbal communication skills
You know how to manage a calendar and run virtual meetings (zoom, etc.)
Highly tech-savvy – you have experience using a broad array of technology and communications tools and learn new tools quickly.
you have experience using a CRM
Experienced conducting demos and presentations to customers in a remote environment
Demonstrated experience/interest in start-ups.
You are comfortable presenting to large groups of people
You understand business and finance fundamentals.

COMPENSATION
$6.50 per hour, plus bonus opportunities
