Job Description:
The Clinical Trials Data Analyst will be responsible for collecting, organizing, and maintaining a comprehensive database of clinical trial data from NIH . The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data collection, database management, and bioinformatics, with a keen eye for detail and a passion for medical research.
Key Responsibilities:
Data Collection: Extract detailed clinical trial information from NIH , including trial identification, sponsor information, trial design, participant details, outcome measures, gene target data, intervention details, trial results, and approval status.
Database Management: Develop and maintain a structured database that is easily accessible and can be seamlessly integrated into predictive models.
Data Validation: Ensure the accuracy and completeness of collected data through rigorous validation and quality control procedures.
Data Integration: Collaborate with data scientists and bioinformaticians to incorporate the collected data into models, ensuring data compatibility and integrity.
Reporting: Generate regular reports and summaries of the collected data to support ongoing research and development projects.
Continuous Improvement: Identify and implement improvements in data collection and management processes to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Bioinformatics, Data Science, Biostatistics, or a related field. A Master’s degree is preferred.
Experience: At least 2-3 years of experience in data collection, database management, or a related field, preferably within the biopharmaceutical industry or clinical research.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in database management systems (e.g., SQL, MySQL), data analysis tools (e.g., Python, R), and familiarity with AWS or AZURE.
Attention to Detail: Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in data collection and validation.
Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex clinical data.
Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present data clearly and effectively.
Team Player: Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with NIH data extraction and analysis.
Knowledge of clinical trial design and regulatory processes.
Familiarity with gene targets and biological pathways in drug development.
