This is one of two software development positions that is open. This is a long-term position that requires a hands-on engineer who is up-to-date with current technologies and continuously strives to build their technology expertise. The ideal candidate would have experience with Polymer Library, Web Components, and Single Page Application (SPA) development and would have some experience building and deploying.
Job Responsibilities:
Working with the sales team on software technical requirements for customers
Working with software developers on new products
Fixing software bugs
Core Job Duties:
Update product documentation
Work with the rest of the team to continue making our products easier to use
Maintain a thorough technical understanding of our products
Ensure issues are resolved before they impact customers
Maintain project history to help estimate cost and duration
Work on programming tasks as requested
Qualifications:
5 years of software development experience
Good written and verbal communication skills
Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field degree or equivalent required (will consider experience in lieu of degree)
Basic understanding of networking protocols (HTTP, SSL, VPN, DNS, etc.)
Required qualification: Git
Required experience with Google Cloud Platform (specifically Firebase)
Required qualification: JavaScript
(optional) DevOps experience
(optional) Experience with Linux
(optional) Scripting skills (etc. batch, PowerShell, bash)
(optional) Experience with JIRA
Experience with TypeScript, Node, and React
Experience designing event-driven systems
Nice to have experience:
Reactive Extensions Library
Redux middleware (Redux-Observable, Redux-Saga, etc.)
Configuring Webpack
or Electron app development
Linux server administration
Setting up CI
C# .NET / Dart programming
