We’re a growing company that serves high-growth eCommerce brands doing 7-8 figures of revenue per year. We primarily provide marketing services from paid advertising to email marketing to help support the growth of our clients.
We’re looking for a Senior eCommerce Email Strategist with at least 3 years of experience managing eCommerce email campaigns and flows to drive revenue for brands. Big plus if you have experience managing a team of copywriters, designers, and assistants to execute on campaigns as we expect you to focus on strategy rather than day to day execution.
Job Responsibilities
Develop and Implement Email Marketing Strategies: Create comprehensive email marketing strategies that align with our clients’ business goals and revenue targets. This involves segmenting audiences, personalizing emails, and optimizing send times to maximize engagement and conversion rates.
Analyze and Optimize Campaigns: Continuously monitor, analyze, and report on the performance of email campaigns and flows. Use data-driven insights to optimize future campaigns for better performance, focusing on key metrics like open rates, click-through rates, conversion rates, and ROI.
Manage Email Marketing Calendar: Oversee the planning and execution of the email marketing calendar, ensuring timely delivery of campaigns that coincide with other marketing activities and business objectives.
Team Leadership and Collaboration: Lead and manage a team of copywriters, designers, and marketing assistants based in the Philippines to execute email campaigns effectively. Foster a collaborative environment that encourages innovation and high-quality work.
A/B Testing and Experimentation: Design and implement A/B tests to improve the effectiveness of email campaigns. Experiment with different email elements, such as subject lines, email copy, call-to-action, and design to continuously improve performance.
Compliance and Best Practices: Ensure all email marketing activities comply with legal regulations (e.g., GDPR, CAN-SPAM Act) and adhere to industry best practices. Stay updated with the latest trends in email marketing to keep our strategy ahead of the curve.
Collaborate with Other Departments: Work closely with other marketing teams, such as paid advertising and content marketing, to ensure a cohesive and integrated approach to our clients’ overall marketing strategy.
Innovate and Drive Growth: Bring innovative ideas and strategies to the table that leverage new technologies, platforms, and approaches to email marketing that can drive growth and improve efficiency.
Resource Management: Oversee the allocation of resources within the email marketing team to ensure projects are delivered efficiently and effectively, within budget and timeline constraints.
Qualifications:
Proven Experience in eCommerce Email Marketing: Minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in developing and implementing successful email marketing strategies specifically for eCommerce brands. Demonstrated ability to drive revenue growth through email marketing campaigns and automation flows.
Leadership and Team Management Skills: Experience in leading and managing a team of creative professionals, including copywriters, designers, and marketing assistants. Ability to inspire, guide, and mentor team members to achieve exceptional results.
Strong Analytical and Data-Driven Mindset: Proficiency in analyzing email campaign performance metrics to guide strategy adjustments and optimizations. Experience with A/B testing, segmentation, and personalization to improve engagement and conversion rates.
Technical Proficiency with Email Marketing Tools: Expertise in using major email marketing platforms (e.g., Klaviyo, Sendlane, etc.) and integrating them with other marketing and eCommerce platforms.
Excellent Communication and Collaboration Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills for effectively presenting strategies and results to clients and collaborating with team members. Ability to work closely with other departments and stakeholders to ensure a unified approach to the clients’ overall marketing strategy.
