Senior Etsy Store Manager (Full Time)

ROLE:

This role will be working directly for our portfolio company. The Etsy store manager is responsible for ensuring we are remaining consistent on the listings we are uploading across various Etsy stores. You will need to know how to work with POD stores (mainly using Printify as a provider) and also digital product stores as well.

This leadership position requires that you not only upload art yourself, but are keeping listings optimized so they show up in front of customers, and keeping up to date with Etsy best practices so we can always have the most optimized (and profitable) listings possible.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Ensure our Etsy stores are flowing smoothly when it comes to revenue consistently growing, ads being effective, new listings consistently going up, new listings planned out in advance, customer support tickets, fielded quickly, etc.

Take on and eventually oversee the day-to-day execution of Etsy store optimization initiatives while collaborating with our team to help you get our listings up depending on what you need from them

Work closely with the design & video teams to craft world-class thumbnails and video previews of our products for our listings
Consistently stay on top of competitor stores to bring us product ideas from them we can recreate for our own stores

Stay up to date with popular keywords and trends so we can base new listings around what the marketplace is searching for
Be able to be a “Jack Of All Trades” where you understand how to run all the Etsy processes in all our stores to be able to step in when a teammate is out or start a new stores that doesn’t have a team yet

RESULTS:

Keep each store in a consistent flow of 10 listings per day minimum

Create a monthly listing schedule so we know what’s going to be published at least one month in advance in each shop

Provide 10+ new inspirational art pieces to recreate each day based on trending competitor designs in the marketplace

Regularly update the Etsy store message and message to customers to reflect current deals, new listings, etc.

Increase seasonal revenue in the store by planning holiday product launches and consistently increasing holiday-related listings

REQUIREMENTS:

Direct experience working with POD and digital Etsy stores

Direct experience working with the Printify platform

Direct experience working in the Print-On-Demand industry

Direct experience creating and packaging digital products for Etsy

Graphic design ability to be able to create product mockups

5+ years of hands-on experience in eCom-related marketing roles

A robust understanding of eCom marketing and Print On Demand

Proven track record in increasing revenue for Etsy/eCom stores

Proficiency in Etsy store optimization, Etsy posting optimization, spying on Etsy competitor listings, Etsy SEO knowledgable

Experience in niche / product idea selection based on understanding what’s trending in the marketplace and what’s performing well for competitors

Proficiency in Etsy (and 3rd party tool) analytics to make data-drive-decisions that will help our shop scale and grow

SALARY:

$5/Hour with potential for raises and bonuses.

We pay out WEEKLY, not biweekly like most companies.

We also round up so if we owe you $77 for example we’ll send $80.

As you grow in this position you can also enter into more of a managerial role where you have a higher hourly pay for leading a team under you who is helping you execute.
