Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Senior Finance Bookkeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in financial bookkeeping and accounting, with a proven ability to manage financial records, prepare financial reports, and ensure the accuracy of our financial operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Financial Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records for all company transactions.
Reconciliation: Perform regular reconciliation of bank statements, accounts payable and receivable, and other financial records.
Financial Reporting: Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
Budget Management: Assist in the development and monitoring of company budgets, providing insights and recommendations for financial planning.
Payroll Management: Oversee payroll processing, ensuring accuracy and compliance with relevant regulations.
Tax Compliance: Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal tax regulations, preparing and filing tax returns as needed.
Audit Preparation: Assist with internal and external audits, providing necessary documentation and support.
Financial Analysis: Analyze financial data to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement.
Qualifications:
Proven experience as a Finance Bookkeeper, Accountant, or similar role, preferably in a digital marketing or tech-focused company.
Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting, and tax regulations.
Proficiency with accounting software and tools (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, or similar).
Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
Strong organizational and time-management skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a remote team.
Relevant certification (e.g., CPA, CMA) is a plus.
