Experience in e-commerce is very helpful.

*Responsibilities*
1. Interface with supply chain on orders and payments to keep CF forecast up to date:
* Act as the primary financial contact with the supply chain team, coordinating on order placements, payments, and any related financial adjustments.
* Update the cash flow (CF) forecast in real-time to reflect changes and ensure seamless operations.
2. Cashflow tracking:
* Continuously monitor and report on the company’s cash inflows and outflows.
* Identify patterns, predict future cash flow trends, and provide actionable insights to optimize liquidity.
* Track payments and inventory deposits
3. Analyze forecast versus actuals:
* Regularly compare projected financial outcomes to real-world results, identifying variances and their causes.
* Provide insights to senior management on areas of improvement, potential risks, and opportunities.
4. Ratio Analysis and observations:
* Conduct comprehensive financial ratio analysis to evaluate the company’s financial health and performance.
* Provide detailed observations and recommendations based on the analysis to guide strategic decisions.
5. Daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly reporting:
* Compile and present detailed financial reports on a daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly basis.
* Tailor reports to various stakeholders, ensuring clarity, relevance, and timely dissemination.
6. Assistance with Tax allocation:
* Work closely with the tax department or external consultants to ensure correct tax calculations.
* Assist in optimizing tax liabilities through strategic financial planning, ensuring compliance with local and federal regulations.
7. Weekly Tracking of Contribution Margin:
* Closely monitor and report on the contribution margin, which indicates the profitability of individual products or product lines.
* Provide insights to senior management on product performance and suggest strategic pricing or cost management strategies to optimize profitability.
8. Analyze Product Level Profitability & Performance
* Review product sales, and profitability and make recommendations on changes to improve profitability.
9. Work With Bookkeeping Team
* Oversee and maintain a comprehensive financial ledger, ensuring that all transactions are accurately recorded by the accounting team
* If not directly handling bookkeeping, manage and guide the bookkeeper or bookkeeping team, setting standards and checking for accuracy and completeness.
