Hiring: Senior Financial Analyst – 100% Remote – $16,000-$20,000/yr

Full-time, Time zone: CST
This is a remote position so you can have the freedom to work from anywhere

Mission of Senior Financial Analyst:

As a proficient and driven Senior Financial Analyst, your central role extends beyond traditional financial analysis, encompassing dynamic client management responsibilities. Your core mission is to provide meticulous accounting solutions while exhibiting leadership prowess and embracing escalating levels of accountability. Your responsibilities include:

Process management:
– Document and streamline client processes to enhance efficiency of onboarding and ongoing client work.
– Assist in month-end close procedures, including journal entries, analyses, and account reconciliations.
Financial analysis and reporting:
– Review client accounting monthly for completeness and accuracy, providing feedback when changes are needed.
– Create and maintain weekly financial reports, such as 13-week cash flow models and KPI/metric dashboards.
– Create and maintain monthly financial reporting packets, including budgets, financial statements, and 36-month forecasts.
Client management:
– Take notes on client calls and provide to-do lists.
– Maintain all client documents securely.
– Handle additional research, analyst duties, or client concerns to optimize client outcomes.
– Communicate promptly and clearly with clients regarding project scheduling and delivery.
Merger and acquisition (M&A) support:
– Assist in M&A due diligence processes.
– Analyze financial and operational data to assess potential synergies and risks.
– Prepare reports and presentations for M&A transactions.

Qualifications:
– Education: Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or a related field required.
– Experience: At least 2 years of relevant work experience with US-based clients is required.
– Strong analytical and quantitative skills, including the ability to:
Interpret financial data
Perform complex calculations
Make data-driven decisions
– In-depth knowledge of:
Financial Principles
Accounting standards
Financial modeling techniques
– Excellent written and verbal communication skills to convey complex financial information to non-finance stakeholders.
– Strong attention to detail when working with financial data and preparing reports.
Must have proficiency in the following applications:
– Google Workspace apps (Google Sheets, Docs, and Slides)
– Microsoft Teams apps (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint)
– Xero
– Quickbooks
