WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR:
If you are a highly technical, fast-paced front-end coder and love solving complex challenges, especially building mobile apps, then we want you to apply. We are looking for someone who has experience or specializes in:
• Building iOS/Android mobile apps in React Native, Swift, or Kotlin • Building web apps in React • Building marketplaces, reverse marketplaces, or auction systems
These more technical skills are an additional plus: • Strong knowledge of iOS/Android UI design principles, patterns, and best practices • Experience leveraging APIs for deep integrations with both iOS and Android platforms • Experience working with remote data via REST and JSON • Solid understanding of the iOS/Android development platforms such as Push Notification, iOS/Android SDKs, and Frameworks • Familiarity with native build tools like XCode, Gradle, and Android Studio • Experience with AWS • Experience with React Hooks • Ability to write clean, well-documented code • An entrepreneurial mentality where you are comfortable working in an exciting, fast-paced, and autonomous environment • Prior internship or startup experience where you have worked on building a mobile app or something else from scratch • A strong product-oriented mindset • Interest in cars and automotive is a plus
IN THIS ROLE, YOU WILL:
• Design and build a highly scalable mobile and web application with a robust frontend UI and backend that can handle 100k users initially • Deliver across the entire app life cycle: concept, design, build, deploy, test, and release to the App Store and Google Play Store • Deliver across the full software development cycle including coding, testing, implementation, and support • You will need to support building a production-level frontend and will be supporting UX/UI designers and frontend engineers • Collaborate with product team stakeholders in the recommendation of enhancements to improve user experience • Help define and communicate technical and design requirements • Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve performance issues at the code and UI layers • Participate with internal departments in requirements gathering, analysis, and specification, providing technical expertise and recommendations • Provide help and support to other team members • Develop internal processes to assist the fast-growing team • Communicate with engineering teams throughout the organization to build world-class products
• Have or be on track to earn a Bachelor’s or Master’s in Computer Science (any specialization is welcome to apply)
• At least 5 years experience in the related field
• Have an eagerness to build solutions to challenging problems in a fast-paced environment
