Senior Full Stack Developer

We are looking for a full-stack, remote freelance developer skilled in Java and ReactJS to translate the requirements of our team into upgrades for our proprietary systems. You will be the main point of contact being directly responsible for the day to day operations for all work related to this supporting system used for domain and server management as well as API connections to specific accounting systems. You are a true go-getter, a problem solver, who can translate all wishes from our staff to beautiful solutions.

– Minimum 2 years of experience in full-stack development
– Proficiency in Java and ReactJS: you have robust experience in both Java and ReactJS, as they form the basis of our backend (Java) and frontend (ReactJS) respectively.
– Experience with MySQL Databases: Our system relies heavily on a MySQL database. Knowledge of database structure and interaction is necessary.
– Familiarity with Linux Systems and CLI: Our back-end and frontend infrastructure operates on Linux, as well as several servers where we host websites. Therefore, understanding these systems and command line interface is necessary.
– Task Management Skills: The candidate will be expected to translate our staff’s requests into clear, actionable tasks for our him/herself and optionally an external junior developer. Strong communication and organization skills are key for this role.
– Punctuality: You conduct quality control before going live, making sure every aspect of a new update to the systems is flawless.
– Fluency in English: Excellent control of the English language in written is essential for effective communication with our our team.
– Ownership: you are not afraid to take full control of any tasks you are given, taking ownership and always thinking in practical solutions
– Availability: Full-time availability in CET timezone is required, and the ability to occasionally work outside of office hours is preferred.
