You must have excellent English speaking and writing skills because you will be communicating with our customers who are based in the United States.
We are based in the US and currently have a team of over 90 contractors from the Philippines working with us

Qualifications:
Proven experience in software development, with a strong emphasis on back-end technologies.
Proficient in working with MongoDB and SQL databases, including design, normalization, and performance optimization.
Extensive experience with AWS cloud services and Docker-based containerization and orchestration.
Familiarity with front-end technologies, particularly React and NextJS, and an understanding of how to integrate them with back-end services.
Solid understanding of RESTful API development, microservices architecture, and security best practices.
Excellent problem-solving abilities and a commitment to high-quality software development practices.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills, able to work effectively in remote settings
Experience with PHP and transitioning legacy systems to modern JavaScript frameworks.
Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, automated testing frameworks, and DevOps practices.
Experience in agile development methodologies

Responsibilities:
Development and maintenance of scalable and efficient back-end systems using NodeJS, Typescript, and NextJS.
Design and implement database schemas and services for both MongoDB and SQL databases, ensuring data integrity, performance, and scalability.
Architect, develop, and maintain APIs and services that connect with React and NextJS-based front-end applications.
Utilize AWS services for deploying and managing the application infrastructure, ensuring high availability and security.
Implement containerization and orchestration solutions using Docker to streamline development and deployment processes.
Collaborate with front-end developers and UX/UI designers to ensure seamless integration and optimal performance of the web applications.
Drive the adoption of best practices in coding, testing, security, and scalability within the team.
Stay updated with the latest trends and technologies in back-end development and advocate for the adoption of new tools and practices that can benefit the team and product.
