ABOUT OUR COMPANY
Our company is a startup using AI to track and predict policies, regulations, and laws for emerging markets. We currently are working on China and India with products that aid portfolio management, trading performance and geo-political monitoring. Our clients include hedge funds, NYSE-listed companies, and Fortune 500 companies.
We are currently a small team of 5, with an office in Hong Kong.
We have recently raised an oversubscribed seed round and are looking for a new team member to help us accelerate product development. Joining now is an opportunity to get in on the ground floor of something hugely exciting.

THE JOB
As part of our expansion efforts, we are looking for a Full Stack Developer to join our team and help us build out our software platform.
We have previously only used our technology internally, but we are now in the process of producing these technologies via building out a new web application. The new team member will focus on building out this web application and be mainly in charge of this process.
This team member will report to the CTO, and Senior ML Researcher. This team member will also work closely with Product to ensure that features are being built according to market demands.
RESPONSIBILITIES
• Collaborate with the engineering teams and product team to build our web application.
o Our stack: SvelteKit, Firebase, Firestore, Vercel, Typescript, ElasticSearch
• Make our web application stable and scalable to more users, including testing, troubleshooting and debugging
• Ensure that our web application is secure, and compliant with any privacy/security standards requested by our clients
• Write technical and user documentation
• Take on additional tasks as necessary, e.g. creating and managing scrapers, adjusting data pipelines, doing AI research
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation (GitHub Actions, etc.)
• Experience with Docker or similar containerization technologies
QUALIFICATIONS (REQUIRED)
• 5 or more years of experience as a Full Stack Developer or similar role
• Proven experience in developing web applications at scale. Knowledge of SvelteKit or preferred.
• Advanced knowledge of , JavaScript, and TypeScript.
• Familiarity with maintaining and deploying production-level code to platforms such as Vercel or Google Cloud.
• Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases; experience with Firebase preferred.
• Experience with Git, GitHub, and version control.
• Familiarity with DevOps (GitHub Actions, etc.).
• Fluency in written and spoken English.
• Knowledge of UI/UX
