The Role
We are looking for a full stack engineer with solid skills to work with other Engineers, Designers and Business users to develop, manage and maintain the architecture and integration of our platform and APIs with other front and back-end systems.
Your responsibilities
– Develop, test and maintain , React Native, and PHP applications.
– Following coding standards, build appropriate unit tests and integration tests.
– Writing and maintaining technical documentation.
– Performing peer code reviews
– Contributing to continual improvements by suggesting improvements and advocating best practices for application – architecture or new technologies.
– Collaborating with other engineers to explore existing systems, determine areas of complexity, potential risks to implementation, and understand application requirements.
– Mentor junior developers where required
About You
We are looking for a dedicated software engineer with a passion for problem-solving and a desire to excel in a dynamic work environment. While the below list of skills is desirable, we welcome candidates to apply if they have a strong foundation in any of these areas and a willingness to learn and adapt:
– Solid experience in , ES6 JavaScript
– Solid experience in and Redux (React Native is a plus)
– Experience in PHP
– Solid experience with HTML5, and CSS3 (Less/SASS).
– Experience working with consuming APIs
– Experience working in a CI/CD environment and Git workflow
– Experience with Agile Software Development Methodology.
– Excellent communication skills
– Working knowledge of some modern software development best practices (TDD, BDD, SOA, Microservices, CI/CD).
– Solid understanding of software engineering practices and design patterns.
– Working knowledge of AWS & Lambda functions.
– Highly self-motivated and organised

Qualifications
Bachelor of Computer Science/Engineering or equivalent.
At least 5 years development experience, including at least 4 years react/redux and experience.
