• Create signage and advertising assets for 2 retail stores
• At the direction of either the retail or wholesale manager create email graphics to be loaded into Klaviyo or Zoho. Templates have been created, this is just graphic design at the direction of a manager. All direction will be in Airtable. Ability to write copy and subject lines a plus.
• Design signage, business cards, postcards and other graphics for two wholesale trade shows per year
• Designs catalog twice a year – this is an 8 week project each season that requires layout skills, organizational skills and strong indesign, photoshop and illustrator skills. Spring catalog starts in end August and goes to printer Mid October. Fall Catalog takes 2 months and starts in March and goes to printer Mid April. Ability to do copy writing very helpful, okay to use chat GPT as well. Basic format of catalog already exists, so it’s adding in new products and subtracting out ones that we’ve dropped and making the layout attractive and compelling. Catalog is 230 plus pages long.
• Assist with Shopify store design twice a year when new season is launched
Image Library Manager
• Selecting best version of each image for each product – must be on brand, and showing the product to its best advantage.
• Batch photos using photoshop or other software from photoshoot to correct size – we have two – and name files according to the item code so they can be loaded onto website
• Put photos into file system and maintain photo library
• Handles general image requests from internal & external teams .
Experience needed
Must have experience working with fashion or home furnishings brands, and being able to understand the look of a brand and apply it to the design projects you are working on. Four years experience creating emails and doing catalog or book layout.
Software skills:
Airtable – basic
Photoshop – expert – minimum 5 years
Illustrator – expert – minimum 5 years
Indesign – expert – minimum 5 years
Excel and word – basic – minimum 2 years
Shopify – minimum 3 years
