Role Summary:
As a Helpdesk / IT Administrator at CyberHAWKS, you will be the first point of contact for our clients experiencing technical issues. This role requires a detail-oriented professional with a strong foundation in Windows servers, the latest Windows clients, and Apple OS. The ideal candidate will have outstanding organizational skills, communicate effectively in writing and verbally, and have a proven track record of providing exceptional customer service.
Responsibilities:
Understand, resolve/escalate, and convey customer issues and resolutions.
Follow SOPs to escalate unresolved queries to the next level of support.
Track, route, and redirect problems to correct resources.
Update customer records and produce activity reports.
Walk customers through problem-solving processes.
Follow up with customers, provide feedback, and see problems through to resolution.
Utilize excellent customer service skills and exceed customers’ expectations.
Ensure proper recording, documentation, and closure.
Augment patch management and backup systems.
Recommended procedure modifications or improvements.
Preserve and grow your knowledge of helpdesk procedures, products, and services.
Requirements:
Proven working experience in providing help desk support.
Proficiency with Windows servers, the latest Windows clients, and Apple OS.
Having worked for an MSP and being proficient with a PSA and RMM is a huge plus.
Exceptional internal and customer-facing writing and verbal communication skills.
Strong task ownership and prioritization skills.
Experience working with network devices.
Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or equivalent.
Industry certifications (e.g., Microsoft Certified Systems Administrator (MCSA)) are a plus.
What We Offer:
Work Hours: 3 PM – 12 Midnight PDT (GMT -7).
Hourly pay: $10 per hour or more depending on skillset, 40 hours per week. Payroll is paid weekly after submissions/approvals.
13th Month Pay: The “13th Month” pay will be paid on or before December 15th of each year.
PTO: 1 week after one year of work. Two weeks after two years of work.
Major US holiday schedule (published by CyberHAWKS).
Sick Pay: 24 hours per year (no carryover).
