About the Job:
As a Senior HR Generalist (with a specialization in talent acquisition), you will play a pivotal role in shaping the workforce of our organization. You will be responsible for overseeing the entire talent acquisition funnel, from sourcing and selection, to hiring and onboarding (hand off to L&D department). This role will work closely with business leaders to understand their hiring needs and develop and implement strategies to attract and retain top talent. As a generalist, you will also be assisting People Operations and L&D with implementation of their activities.
Key Responsibilities
1) Talent Acquisition and Recruitment:
– Use our Talent Acquistion funnel to evaluate and process applicants
– Manage the day to day of reviewing and confirming applicant experience and job fit.
– Manage the full recruitment cycle, including job posting, headhunting, interviewing (with hiring manager + OD), and candidate selection.
– Build and maintain a strong employer brand and a positive candidate experience.
– Utilize various recruitment channels and platforms to expand talent pool.
– Coordinate with department heads to identify staffing needs and requisite skill sets.
– Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of our talent acquisition activities and metrics and provide regular reports and feedback.
– Facilitate the initial onboarding process / orientation for new hires and ensure that they have a positive and productive start to their employment.
2) Learning and Organization Development:
– Handover new hires to L&D for further onboarding
– Assist in the Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation of our Learning and Development initiatives
– Assist in the Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation of Organization Development interventions.
3) HR Administration:
– Oversee the management of personnel records, payroll details, time off records, compliance, and other HR-related tasks
– Answer any queries about people or HR-related issues, and help to resolve them internally, if possible
– Assist Finance by providing up-to-date payroll information for all personnel, as well reviewing overtime hours, holiday pay, and – more.
– Take an active part in HR projects, such as overseeing logistics related to engagement activities and company events.
– Manage and run the HRIS software of the organization, and make sure it’s updated.
– Prepare various HR/People documents, including new hire guides, certifications for employment, compensation, and more
Requirements:
– Education: Bachelor’s or equivalent
– Experience: 2-5 years relevant experience (General HR, Recruitment, HR Admininstration)
– Recruitment: 1-3 years experience
– Scope of Control: Control is only limited to their own work.
– Impact: Jobs at this level have a direct impact on the performance of an entire department. These jobs typically require strategic thinking and decision-making skills, and the incumbent is responsible for setting departmental goals, allocating resources, and ensuring that the department is meeting its objectives. (Senior roles)
– Degree of Technical Skills: (1) Has basic knowledge of key aspects of the practice. (2) Can follow instructions and complete basic tasks. (3) May be able to identify and troubleshoot simple problems. (4) Can work independently with some guidance.
– Degree of Problem Solving: (1) Individuals at this level are able to identify and solve problems that have already occurred. They can use basic problem-solving skills to identify the root cause of a problem and develop a solution. (2) May require some guidance and support to solve problems.
– Task Complexity: (1) Tasks are more complex and require some problem-solving skills. (2) There is some ambiguity or uncertainty involved in completing the tasks. (3) The tasks require more specialized skills and knowledge. (4) The tasks can be completed in a reasonable amount of time.
– Hardware Required: (1) The level of hardware required needs to be sufficient for more demanding tasks such as browsing multiple browser tabs (2) The hardware requirements for this level are higher than the basic level, and a mid-range computer or laptop will be required.

Interview Process
– The interview process is all initially at your pace. We only do in-person interview in the final step. We will initially ask yes/no & numberic questions to verify your relevant experience. And then we will ask you up to 5 situation base questions to understand gauge your experience, logic & communication skills.
– After which, we might have some clarification questions for you.
– Then we will select a few applicants to do a paid trail task (we will provide actual problems / issue we face that you will try to resolve).
– Lastly, we will do a final in person interview (at this point, you would most likely have passed most of the job competency and experience assessment and this is a job/culture fit + opportunity for you to ask/understand us better).
