Students Explore Australia Pty Ltd is on a mission to connect young people with nature, to improve the wellbeing of our next generation. We predominantly achieve this through delivering 3 main services:
* School Camps to Middle School and High School students
* Australian Aboriginal Culture focused camp programs (On Country Camps)
* Camps for young people who have significant and permanent disabilities (NDIS Camps)

ROLE DESCRIPTION

We are seeking a Senior Human Resources Manager that can build out the Human Resources department within our business, as we scale up our team and expand our services Australia-wide.

The Ideal Candidate will have:
– 5+ years experience working in Human Resources
– Be a Human Resources generalist (rather than any specific specialisation)
– Experience building out departments (including designing processes and standard operating procedures – SOPs)
– A big believer in our core values
– Has worked with executive level staff for multiple years, preferably in Australia

Responsibilities:
With support from our Director, develop systems and processes for, and execute the following core functions:
– Culture-promoting programs for our casual staff and fulltime staff
– Training systems, processes and structures for all roles within the business.
– Documentation and design of compensation structures.
– Keeping our organisational chart up to date and overseeing position documentation for each role.
– HR Administration such as scheduling interviews with candidates, and in most cases attending interviews alongside role-specialists that are in our team.
– Advise and liaise with current staff on their entitlements, leave, pay and other HR related queries.
– Interpret and apply Australian Award systems to payroll and employee benefits.
– Lead recruitment efforts by sourcing, interviewing, and selecting top talent.

Essential Skills:
– Extremely organised and process-oriented thinker
– Expert proficiency in google suite of programs (Google Sheets in particular)
– A strong English communicator, both written and verbally

– Australian Day Shift – 7:30am to 4:30pm PH Time
– Base salary (paid twice a month): Php 90,000 – Php 130,000 (depending on qualifications and experience)
– Additional 13th-month pay
– Additional monthly contributions to SSS, PhilHealth and Pag-IBIG
– Additional 20 annual leave credits
– Additional paid public holiday days off (based on South Australian calendar) – this is in addition to leave credits.
– 1 week all expenses paid company retreat each year, in person with all fulltime staff (last year we all flew to Siargao Island, including our PH Staff and our Australian staff)
