Primary Responsibilities:
We are looking for a creative, innovative illustrator with a passion for Apparel to join our team, expand their skill set, and continue their passion for art and design. If you’re looking for a fast-paced working environment where you will be tested and exposed to many different types of media projects, this position is for you.
In this position, you will work with our close-knit design and merchandising teams, who all have a passion for their job. The Emazing Group is a pivotal force in both the music festival industry and the broad male apparel market and helps set the gold standard for artistic excellence.
– Collaborate with merchandising team to create custom patterns and illustrations.
– Creating visual mockups from merchandising team concepts.
– Brainstorming with the apparel team to come up with screenprint ideas.
– Preparing and designing rough draft illustrations according to team specifications.
– Produce print-ready tech packs and artwork files for various techniques (i.e. screenprint, sublimation, etc.).
Skills and experience:
– Powerful PC/Mac (specs will be required to share).
– 5+ years of professional experience as an illustrator at an in-house studio or brand focused on apparel development.
– Expert knowledge of Adobe Illustrator & Photoshop (Pre-Production Print Needs).
– Possess strong conceptual skills and a high-level sense of illustration.
– Strong conceptual and artistic skills.
– Experience with the apparel pre-production process.
– Ability to be a self-sufficient, proactive worker, thinking about the end application.
– Strong production and file management skills.
– Must have a keen eye for detail.
– Take direction and work closely with project managers and other team members.
– Strong time management skills, must be able to multitask, manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines.
Nice To Have:
Experience using computer-aided design (CAD) software for apparel.
Preferred Working Hours:
– Monday to Friday 9 am – 6 pm PST
Language Skills:
– Excellent written, verbal, and spelling skills in English.
Physical Demands:
– May be subjected to working extended hours.
– Must be able to work the graveyard shift.

Your portfolio must reflect your strong illustration skills and conceptual abilities across various media. Sample work should reflect a clear command of all aspects of illustration. Examples of illustration work are required.
