We are currently looking for a remote Senior IT Specialist to undertake the following tasks:

Day to day tasks:

Helpdesk support
– Provides IT support for the operations (team members) and the corporate team through chat, email, or remote sessions
– Perform troubleshooting using different diagnostic techniques
– Coordinates technology installations, upgrades, and maintenance
Resolving backend tickets
– Google workspace alerts (spam messages, new device login alerts, etc)
– Remote maintenance and monitoring tickets (maintenance tickets for team members)
Ad hoc tasks and projects assigned by the Head of IT (reports and research)
Asset management (performed as needed)
– Providing an accurate view of IT asset inventory, checking and optimizing asset use including the evaluation of purchases, deployments, and retrieval
– Managing the ITAM (IT Asset Management) software (Assettiger)
– Hardware issuance and logistics coordination
– Hardware retrieval and logistics coordination
– Enrolment and removal of users / licenses in SaaS products (Google Workspaces, HubSpot, 1Password etc)
– Enrolment and removal of devices in Atera

Special tasks such as:

– Setting up of Zero Trust network solutions for 300+ team members using technologies such as Secure Access Service Edge (SASE) or any similar systems (Nordlayer is our existing vendor)
– Selecting and purchasing new and replacement hardware and software, if necessary
– Developing and implementing IT policy and best practice guides for the organization
– On some occasions, meets with external parties (partners and vendors) to represent Extenteam to answer questions regarding security and technology
– Implementation of security measures to reduce risk and mitigate threats
– Ad hoc tasks and projects assigned by the CEO

TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS:
30MBPS or higher internet speed
i5 or higher processor
Minimum of 8 GB RAM
Private and quiet dedicated home office area (no roosters, dogs, children’s noises in the background)
Back-ups in case of power or Telco interruptions
Good headset and webcam (Preferably noise-canceling headset)
