Your Role

As an employee of Offshore Launch, you are being hired for a unique role within a target Client’s company. We value long-term partnerships, and seek to recruit talent that will serve an individual Client’s business for multiple years.

You will work full-time with the Client company. However, the Agency provides ongoing support to ensure your continued success. As such, we create space for ongoing check-ins, feedback and development through:

– Membership in the Offshore Launch Slack workspace
– Bi-weekly All Team meetings
– Monthly reviews

About the Client:

We’ve proudly served the Portland and Washington areas for over 20 years, delivering excellent service and innovative IT solutions.

As a Senior IT Technician (Managed Service Provider), you’ll be a key part of our team, providing top-tier support during after-hours and ensuring our clients’ IT systems run smoothly. We’re looking for someone who shares our core values of excellence, adaptability, integrity, and persistence.

Responsibilities:

– Handle after-hours support calls to ensure continuous service for clients to resolve tickets promptly and efficiently.
– Act quickly to fix issues before they become bigger problems.
– Provide T3-level support.
– Provide remote support for desktops, laptops, and servers, specifically Microsoft Windows 7, 8, 10, 11, and Windows
Server 2012-2022.
– Use our remote monitoring tool, N-Able N-sight (formerly N-able RMM) to proactively watch for and fix hardware failures,
login issues, and viruses.
– Proactively address system warnings and alerts to prevent issues before they affect users.
– Administer and troubleshoot Office 365 and Google Workspace environments.
– Take care of server backups using Shadow Protect by Arcserve.
– Set up and troubleshoot SonicWall firewalls.
– Use PowerShell and batch file scripting to automate tasks.
– Keep track of and resolve issues using the Autotask ticketing system

Requirements:

– Minimum of 5 years of experience in IT consulting or MSP environments (non-negotiable).
– Extensive experience with remote support tools and technologies.
– Proficient in managing and troubleshooting Windows operating systems and servers.
– Strong knowledge of Office 365 and Google Workspace administration.
– Extensive experience with N-Able N-sight (or similar remote monitoring tools), SonicWall firewalls, and Arcserve Shadow
Protect.
– Strong familiarity with PowerShell scripting and batch file scripting.
– Strong understanding of PSA or ticketing systems.
– Confident problem solver and experienced solutions architect.
– Experience with Druva (bonus).
– Excellent English communication skills, both verbal and written, with minimal accent (non-negotiable).
– Ability to work independently and solve complex technical issues with minimal supervision.
– Working Hours: 12am-9am PST/PDT (3pm-12am Manila time)

Compensation & Benefits (to be provided by Offshore Launch):

– $1600-1800 depends on experience
– 13th month pay
– Performance-based bonuses
