We are a fast growing finance brokerage located in Melbourne Australia. Our clients are first home buyers and existing homeowners who are looking to refinance or purchase more property. We help them by offering effective lending solutions and best in class customer service as evidenced by our excellent reviews. We target the Australian market.

As a Senior Loan Administrator, you will be the senior Broker’s right hand. You will handle putting together applications and preparing files for lodgment to the lender until formal approval as well as providing other administrative support.

We are looking for a motivated, punctual applicant who understands the loan application cycle and who is familiar with general principles of property lending in the Australian market. This role will suit an applicant with industry experience in the Australian mortgage market who is looking for the comfort of working from home.

What you will be doing:

Putting together applications.
Preparing files for lodgment
Employment Verification of loan applicants.
Compliance audit checks
Checking documents are correct.
Manage daily workflow by ensuring all SLA’s are adhered to.
Following up with the file until Formal Approval.
Inbox management and some appointment setting

You will need a keen eye for detail and a common sense approach to problem solving. A working knowledge of Salestrekker loan processing software is advantageous but not critical. Having worked for an Australian mortgage broker is essential.

Requirements

MUST have a computer, reliable internet connection – soft phone will be provided or paid for if you have one already
MUST have at least 1 year loan processing experience for an Australian broker.
Polished verbal, written and interpersonal skills along with excellent phone etiquette
Outstanding listening skills and attention to detail.
Professional and courteous disposition.
Available for full time work
Honest, reliable and takes pride in work – this role is very detail oriented
A basic knowledge of lender policy & procedure
Clear & thorough communication with the broker to address issues and problems in a collaborative way.
