The Company

Stand4 Ventures is a multi award-winning, fast growing group of online brands based in the UK. We seek to disrupt established markets with our digital first approach, whilst also having a positive impact on the world.

Our core brand Stand4 Socks () is a direct to consumer ecommerce brand of ethically made socks, whereby each pair of socks also has a positive impact, such as providing another pair to a homeless person. Stand4 Socks is also growing fast in the B2B space, creating custom socks for organizations of all sizes such as Google, Accenture, and Oatly through a number of brand partnerships. The brand is also supported by celebrities such as Louis Theroux, Michael Sheen and Stephen Fry.

The group has also set up the athleisure brand STRIDIES, with new businesses and products planned in the pipeline. Our founder has appeared on Dragons’ Den TV show in the past, and won an award for Great British Entrepreneur for Good NW. We are in an exciting stage of growth and expanding our team is fundamental to our future success.

The Role

We operate as a small remote team currently and are now looking for a full time senior marketing manager with experience to take us to a new level.

It’s an exciting time in the company’s growth to work on an established brand that is scaling. We are looking for an organized, outgoing person to take the lead of our marketing side of the business. A unique opportunity and timing to take on a leading brand launching into new markets and to work alongside the founder to lead our marketing strategy.

You will be working with the Founder and as the business grows you will have the opportunity to manage your own marketing team. Would be expected to be hands on initially.

Stand4 Socks – main focus on the B2C flagship brands growth in the UK market, but also work on marketing strategy for entry into the US market. Also support the B2B side of business with both marketing communication approach and lead generation. Play a vital role taking this brand to next level and fast growth over the next 12-24 months.

Responsibilities

– Leading our full marketing strategy and implementation for the business.
– Driving new website customer acquisition in core UK market, and new USA market.
– Increase engagement from existing customers to drive repeat purchases and Customer Lifetime Value.
– Optimise and improve average order across customer segments.
– Leading execution in the creation & implementation of digital marketing strategies across social media, email & SEO, affiliates, influencers and collaborations.
– Managing and working with freelancers, partners to deliver projects on time.
– Leading and overseeing content creation strategy across social media, ads, blogs, press, emails, landing pages, influencers and content, photography / video.
– Continue to develop our understanding of market segmentation and buyer personas through data analysis, A/B testing and growth experiments.
– Driving and maximizing, profitable, Customer Lifetime Value (CLV) through high repeat purchase rate and strong average order value.
– Building reports and reporting KPI’s across marketing performance and against benchmarks, using tools such as Google Analytics and Shopify.
– Analysis aimed at optimizing marketing lessons and performance.
– Collaborating with the wider team on customer service, e-commerce, supply chain, product development, operations, inventory management,
– Planning international growth into key markets such as the US and Europe. Leading the marketing strategy & testing in these markets,
– Developing the brand(s) into a global market leaders.

Main Skills we are looking for in a candidate are:

– Passionate about business as a force for good
– At least 5 years working experience in marketing industry, ideally management
– Online Marketing strategy and design.
– Understanding of Jobs to be done mindset / Customer lifetime value mindsets
– Advanced understanding of segmentation & data analysis
– Experience in testing and A/B analysis
– Experience in brand marketing and positioning,
– UK / US e-commerce marketing experience
– Email Marketing strategies and campaigns, design, create, execute, analysis (DRIP or Klaviyo)
– Social Media Marketing & Community Management – graphic design, write copy, analyse
– Content creation and graphic design (Canva or Adobe Illustrator)
– Working understanding of paid ads, search and SEO
– Ability to work independently, comfortable with ambiguity
– Ambitious and comfortable with large responsibilities
– Inquisitive, curious, able to think on your feet
– Excellent attention to detail
– Problem solving aptitude and strong organisational capability
– Ability to work under pressure and at fast pace
– Works to tight deadlines and can do attitude
– Resourceful

Role Details:

– Full time position (40 hours a week) , Monday – Fridays
– Benefits & Holidays after 6 months probation
– Hours can be flexible. Founder is in New York (EST time zone), and the expectation will be some overlap time for team calls, presentations with the global team.
