Job Description

As a Senior Media Buyer, you will be responsible for planning, strategizing, negotiating, and executing media campaigns across various platforms to promote our company’s products or services. You will work closely with the marketing team to drive brand visibility, increase customer engagement, and achieve marketing objectives through effective media placements.

Key Responsibilities:

Media Strategy:

Develop comprehensive media strategies aligned with the company’s marketing goals and target audience.
Identify the most suitable media channels (TV, radio, digital, print, social media, etc.) for each campaign based on audience demographics and behavior.
Campaign Planning and Execution:

Collaborate with internal stakeholders to define campaign objectives, budgets, and KPIs.
Create detailed media plans outlining ad placements, budgets, and timelines.
Execute campaigns across various media channels, ensuring proper scheduling and optimization.
Oversee the creative development process to ensure ads are tailored for specific media formats.
Media Buying and Negotiation:

Negotiate media rates and contracts with vendors to ensure cost-effective placements.
Manage relationships with media vendors, securing favorable terms and priority placements.
Monitor market trends and negotiate bulk deals or special packages to maximize ROI.
Data Analysis and Optimization:

Monitor campaign performance using relevant analytics tools to track key metrics.
Analyze data to identify trends, insights, and areas for optimization.
Make real-time adjustments to media placements and budgets to improve campaign effectiveness.
Budget Management:

Develop and manage media budgets for individual campaigns and overall marketing efforts.
Ensure adherence to budget constraints while optimizing media placements for maximum impact.
Team Collaboration:

Work closely with the marketing team, creative team, and external agencies to align messaging and creativity with media strategy.
Provide guidance and mentorship to junior media buyers, assisting with their professional growth.
Reporting and Communication:

Generate regular reports on campaign performance, highlighting key metrics and insights.
Present results and recommendations to internal stakeholders, including senior management.
Industry Knowledge:

Stay up-to-date with the latest trends, technologies, and best practices in media buying and advertising.
Qualifications and Requirements:

Proven experience in media buying, with a track record of successful campaigns.
Strong negotiation skills and the ability to build and maintain relationships with media vendors.
Proficiency in using media planning and analytics tools.
Excellent analytical and data interpretation skills.
Effective communication and presentation abilities.
Detail-oriented and highly organized.
Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
Leadership and mentoring skills for guiding junior team members.
Knowledge of digital advertising platforms and programmatic buying is preferred.
