Senior Mobile App Developer – React Native

Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Mobile Application Developer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing, testing, and maintaining mobile applications for both iOS and Android platforms. They will be required to work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure that the applications are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required standards.

You will have the option of working fully remotely, be used to having daily stand-ups and stand-downs, and be excited by the chance of working on an exciting, innovative new Real Estate Mobile app.

Responsibilities:

Development of a mobile app using React Native
Working with designs supplied to you in Figma
Exploration of the use of new devices, features and wearables
Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code using best practices.
Conduct code reviews to ensure that the code is of high quality and meets the required standards.
Test and debug applications to ensure that they are free of bugs and errors.
Participate in the full software development lifecycle, from requirements gathering and analysis to design, development, testing, deployment, and maintenance.
Release management for IOS and Android including testing and deployment
Support for operational activities
Certificate management
Writing automated tests to help roll out APIs

Requirements:

5+ years of experience using React Native is a must.
5+ years of knowledge in Mobile App Development
Experience in the development of Android/iOS applications and have deployed them on Google Play/App Store
In-depth understanding of front-end languages like HTML, CSS3 and JavaScript, not just experience with frameworks
In-depth understanding of Object Oriented programming languages like Java and C++.
Familiarity using version control tools like Git, Subversion etc. and IDEs like Android Studio, VS Code etc.
Understanding of the Agile Software Development Life Cycle and being exposed to Scrum projects.
Knowledge of Dart programming language, Rest APIs and integration of various APIs from third parties.
Solid understanding of mobile and mobile-first development practices with regard to HTML/CSS
Experience in app design to cover mobile, tablet and all devices
Experience designing reusable components, frameworks and libraries
Comfortable using test cases for debugging code, enhancing performance and reliability.
Ability to develop quickly and with high quality in mind at all times under the SCRUM methodology.
Experience working remotely and coordinating tech initiatives with different teams to deliver projects.
Worked at any stage of startup or have developed projects of their own ideas.
