Senior PHP Developer Cebu City/Office Based

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Senior PHP Developer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining our existing and new web applications. The candidate will be responsible for leading and reviewing the code of the team and ensuring that our codebase is well-architected, maintainable, and scalable.

Responsibilities:

• Develop, implement, and maintain PHP-based web applications and API’s
• Write efficient and maintainable code that is scalable and modular
• Lead and review the code of the team
• Ensure code is well-architected and follows best practices
• Design and implement database schemas that are efficient and scalable
• Collaborate with other developers, designers, and product managers to ensure high-quality deliverables
• Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to the team
• Debug and troubleshoot issues as they arise
• Write unit and integration tests to ensure the quality of the code

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience in PHP web development
• 3+ years of experience in code review and team leadership
• Strong knowledge of PHP, MySQL, and other web technologies
• Experience with Laravel, Symfony, or other PHP frameworks
• Understanding of software development methodologies (Agile, Scrum)
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
