Necessary Skills (required)
• Minimum 5 years experience
• NO WEBSITE BUILDERS (such as Divvy or Elementor) WILL BE USED!
• Ability to hand code PHP
• Ability to create custom WordPress plugins
• Expert level HTML/CSS hand coding
• Ability to work with Adobe XD file exports
• Understand how to implement responsive design and experience with Bootstrap
• Keen understanding of JavaScript and/or a JavaScript library such as jQuery
• Ability to make Web API calls and integrate 3rd party databases into custom WordPress builds
• Ability to use JavaScript to make Web API calls and parse response data into UI
• AWS/Plesk Server Management
Helpful Skills
• Experience creating custom Gutenberg blocks
• Experience with Woocommerce
• Experience with Github, TFS, or version control of any kind is helpful (not required)
• Ability to slice images, crop photos, web optimize, and remove backgrounds (clipping paths)
Our agency is seeking an experienced WordPress Developer to join our team. We are a 16 person web design, development, and digital marketing agency located in the USA. 6 of our team members are located in the Philippines.
The right candidate will have the ability to create custom WordPress plugins with in-depth knowledge of PHP, Javascript, HTML, and CSS.
Applicants should have the ability to take an existing site design from Adobe XD and turn it into a functional WordPress Theme using a combination of HTML, CSS, Javascript and PHP for client approval. The applicant will be expected to build a finished website from the approved design utilizing Elementor or custom PHP in WordPress.
Applicants should possess the ability to build/customize jQuery/JavaScript to create effects, animations, and create advanced interactive functions and tools.

Bi-monthly pay is fair and negotiable, depending on experience. Work hours are fairly flexible.
