Senior Project Manager

Job Description:

2 Dam Creative is seeking a skilled and experienced Project Manager to join our dynamic team. As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for leading and managing the successful execution of various projects from inception to completion. Your expertise in project management methodologies, excellent communication skills, and ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams will be crucial in ensuring the timely delivery of projects while maintaining high quality standards.

Responsibilities:

– Responsible for all client communications and the efficient completion of client deliverables on key accounts.
– Prepares and manages project briefs and facilitates client approvals.
– Manage the maintenance of existing clients’ website developed on WordPress CMS
– Enables accurate and regular two-way communication between the client and agency to ensure project success and manage client expectations.
– Works closely with the Project Managers and Head of Digital to ensure timely and accurate delivery of projects for the client.
– Develops and maintains a deep understanding of agency capabilities and services and effectively communicates all offerings to clients or prospects
– Reports to the Head of Digital and provides regular reporting and feedback on all account activity and client relationships.
– Conduct ongoing research and analysis to educate and assist clients with new digital innovations and services.
– Collaborate with the marketing and sales team to identify and grow opportunities within territory.
– Allocate resources effectively and efficiently, ensuring optimal utilization of team members’ skills and expertise throughout the project lifecycle.
– Define and implement quality standards for project deliverables. Conduct thorough testing and quality checks to ensure that all project outputs meet or exceed expectations.
– Train junior project managers.

Requirements:

– 5+ years of proven experience as a Project Manager, with a track record of successfully delivering projects on time and within budget.
– Must have experience managing and maintaining WordPress website builds.
– Strong knowledge of WordPress CMS
– Proficiency in project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall) and project management tools.
– Superb fluency in English, preferably Australian English
– Excellent leadership and team management skills.
– Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
– Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
– Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
– Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work in a fast-paced environment.
– Project management certifications are a plus.
– Experience in account or project management for Australia-based software development agencies and a background in the Australian market is preferred.
– Can work AU time (9:00 am – 5:00 pm AEST)
