Job Description: Senior Project Manager with Logistics Experience

Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Project Manager with a strong background in logistics to join our residential and commercial painting company. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional project management skills, deep knowledge of logistics and supply chain processes, and a proven track record of leading complex projects to successful completion. This role requires strategic thinking, excellent communication, and the ability to manage cross-functional teams.

Salary:
$800-1000 per month (plus bonuses) depending on the experience. This is just the starting point, there will be plenty of opportunities for raises!
Type of Employment:
Full Time & Long Term

Trial Period:
Before the full employment, there will be a two-week probation period (trial) during which we will figure whether we like each other and if we can work together. We will pay $200 for each week during that period. If by the end of the trial, both parties feel like it is a good fit and match, then full-time employment will be offered.

Key Responsibilities:
* Project Planning and Management: Develop comprehensive project plans for residential and commercial painting projects, including scope, objectives, timelines, resources, and budgets. Oversee all phases of project execution from initiation to closure, ensuring alignment with business goals.

* Logistics and Supply Chain Management: Leverage extensive logistics expertise to optimize supply chain processes, improve efficiency, and ensure timely delivery of materials and services needed for painting projects.

* Team Leadership: Lead and mentor cross-functional project teams, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture. Ensure team members have clear roles, responsibilities, and are aligned with project objectives.

* Stakeholder Communication: Serve as the primary point of contact for all project stakeholders. Provide regular updates on project status, risks, and issues, and facilitate effective communication between internal and external parties.

* Risk Management: Identify potential project risks and develop mitigation strategies. Proactively address issues to minimize impact on project timelines and outcomes.

* Quality Assurance: Ensure all project deliverables meet the highest quality standards. Implement best practices and continuous improvement methodologies to enhance the quality of painting projects.

* Budget Management: Monitor project budgets, control costs, and ensure projects are completed within budget constraints. Identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality.

* Compliance and Safety: Ensure all projects comply with relevant regulations, standards, and safety requirements. Promote a culture of safety and ensure all team members adhere to safety protocols.

Qualifications:
* Bachelor’s degree in Project Management, Business Administration, Logistics, or a related field. A master’s degree is a plus.
* PMP or similar project management certification is preferred.
* Minimum of 7 years of experience in project management, with at least 3 years in logistics or supply chain management.
* Experience in the painting or construction industry is highly desirable.
* Strong leadership and team management skills.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Proficiency in project management software and tools.
* Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
* Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.

Hours:
-40 hours/week
-We’re based in the West Coast which is on PST time zone, You will need to work according to our time zone.
