Project Initiative: Enhanced Email Marketing API

We are initiating a project to build a sophisticated API that enhances email marketing strategies. The API will not only track the delivery and inbox rates of email sequences but also provide in-depth analytics and real-time notifications. The goal is to offer marketing teams actionable insights into their email sequences with comprehensive analytics on delivery outcomes. Our stack is Python3/Flask/SqlAlchemy. Our service integrates with email servers (we have APIs for this). And we also provide email warming for clients (we have email addresses that we own, we email those email addresses and mark the incoming mail as not spam and open it).

Key Responsibilities:
• Design and implement a secure authentication system with the Smartlead API.
• Develop a robust backend system in Python using Flask and SQLAlchemy for managing email sequences, including creation, modification, and analysis.
• Implement advanced features for tracking the delivery status of each email within a sequence, categorizing them (e.g., delivered, inbox, spam), and calculating sequence-level inbox rates.
• Create a real-time notification system to alert users of delivery status changes and important analytics milestones.
• Work closely with the frontend team to integrate the API with a user-friendly dashboard (optional based on skillset).
• Ensure high performance, reliability, and scalability of the API to handle large volumes of data.
• Write comprehensive documentation and setup guides for the API.

Required Skills and Experience:
• Strong experience in Python, with a focus on Flask and SQLAlchemy.
• Proven track record with RESTful API development and integration, especially with marketing or CRM platforms like Smartlead.
• Familiarity with email marketing strategies and technologies.
• Ability to implement complex algorithms for data analysis and insight generation.
• Experience with real-time data processing and notifications.
• Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and in team settings.
• Strong communication skills for effective collaboration and documentation.
