Senior Quality Assurance (QA) Analyst
Position Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Senior Quality Assurance (QA) Analyst to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in various testing methodologies and will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products. By developing and executing comprehensive test plans, including regression test suites, the Senior QA Analyst will play a critical role in our product development process, contributing to the delivery of high-quality software with each release.

Key Responsibilities:
Test Planning and Execution:

Develop, document, and maintain functional test cases and other test artifacts like test data and data validation.
Execute test plans on scheduled releases as well as on an ad-hoc basis, including regression, integration, platform, and performance tests to ensure quality standards are met.
Identify, document, and track defects through to resolution, working closely with development teams to prioritize bug fixes.
Regression Testing:

Build and maintain an effective and comprehensive regression test suite.
Regularly review and update test cases to reflect new product insights and changes.
Utilize automation tools to streamline the execution of regression tests with each new release or patch.
Quality Assurance Processes:

Ensure that all testing is conducted in accordance with the company’s quality assurance methodologies.
Collaborate with the development team to understand product changes and prioritize testing efforts.
Provide timely and accurate feedback to project stakeholders, including detailed reports on test execution, defect analysis, and risk assessment.
Continuous Improvement:

Stay abreast of the latest trends in software testing and quality assurance, incorporating best practices into testing routines.
Drive continuous improvement in the QA process, suggesting improvements to test strategies and techniques.
Participate in team meetings and contribute valuable insights aimed at enhancing the quality and efficiency of our products.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
5+ years of experience in software quality assurance, with a proven track record in test case development and execution.
Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
Experience with automated testing tools is a plus.
Excellent analytical skills and the ability to understand complex software from both a technical and user perspective.
Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to clearly articulate issues and work collaboratively with development teams.
