Position Details

As our Recruiter, you will be accountable for presenting qualified and culture-fit candidates for final interviews. You will recruit for a wide range of positions and should have a thorough knowledge of a variety of startup and small business jobs. You should be eager to search for outbound leads and message candidates on many different platforms, including LinkedIn – communicating with them from their first interview through a signed offer letter. You will be a long-term part of our team and your work will ebb & flow as we experience growth spurts.

What you’ll do:

Build and strengthen our recruiting process and systems
– Lead company wide recruiting strategy, including but not limited to sourcing methods, A/B testing of job posts, creative sourcing and outbound outreach to improve applicant volume and quality.
– Knowledgeable of international recruiting best practices and methods for attracting top talent.
– Create dashboards to provide visibility into recruiting metrics.
– Research and propose standardized pay bands and benefits for remote and international workers.
– Consistently deliver recruiting updates and results.
– Leverage free and paid tools to improve recruiting outcomes.
– Understand our team culture & long-term vision to find the right candidates.
– Maintain our talent pipeline on ensuring robust communication and up-to-date records.
– Propose best practices for recruitment, improve our systems and train others.

Clarify Roles
– Conduct initial interviews with hiring managers to clarify requirements.
– Craft, review, and enhance job descriptions to attract potential candidates.

Post & Outreach
– Post jobs on multiple channels.
– Engage with candidates and addressing inquiries promptly.
– Leverage LinkedIn to connect with potential applicants.
– International recruiting – using other websites/ partners to find talent.

Interview
– Perform interviews to assess candidates.
– Screen candidates for skills and cultural alignment.
– Recommend qualified candidates for further interview stages.
– Record notes and learn from feedback on rejected/ approved candidates.

What you bring:

The main requirement is that you show up to consistently perform and improve your role. We are looking for someone who can own the full cycle recruitment for multiple roles and industries from start to finish and be accountable for getting hires. You will encounter unknowns and must be familiar with personally solving challenges. You should have relevant experience and confidence in your ability.

Requirements:
– 5 years of relevant work experience in recruiting or talent acquisition.
– Excellent communication skills, written and verbal.
– Soft skills and emotional intelligence.
– Interest and aptitude for understanding people and what they want.
– Experience with & desire to work with Startups a plus.
– Resourceful individual who can take initiative without much direction.
