Your Role:

In this role, you’ll be the cornerstone of our SEO strategy, focusing primarily on on-page and technical SEO to enhance our WordPress site’s performance. While off-page SEO and link building will be part of your toolkit, your main goal is to optimize our online presence from the inside out. You’ll enjoy the autonomy of remote work, collaborating with a dynamic team across time zones, and blending your expertise in technology with a passion for food and culture.

Key Responsibilities:

– On-Page and Technical SEO Mastery: Lead our on-page SEO efforts, ensuring our WordPress site is optimized for search engines.
– WordPress Tech Knowledge : Utilize your WordPress tech skills to enhance site functionality and SEO.
– Keyword Research and Strategy: Conduct in-depth keyword research, aligning content with our marketing goals.
– Analytical Approach: Use tools like RankMath, Ubersuggest, SEMrush, etc., to analyze data and inform strategy.
– Content Optimization: Identify and leverage opportunities for SEO-friendly content that drives organic traffic.
– Off-Page SEO Strategy: While secondary, contribute to off-page SEO strategies, including backlinking and PR link building.

Required Skills and Experience:

– Advanced SEO Knowledge: Proven experience in SEO, with a focus on on-page and technical SEO.
– WordPress Expertise: Strong skills in WordPress development and optimization.
– Analytical and Strategic Thinking: Ability to analyze SEO data and develop strategic plans for improvement.
– Technical SEO Skills: Deep understanding of technical SEO aspects, including site architecture, sitemaps, schema markup, etc.
– Content Strategy Savvy: Experience in developing content strategies that align with SEO goals.
