Senior Shopify Front End Developer

The Girlfriend Doctor (TGFD) brand is seeking a full-time, experienced Senior Shopify Front End Developer to join our remote team in the USA.

The right candidate will have successfully worked for an e-commerce product marketing team in one of the following markets/industry verticals: nutritional supplements, beauty, skincare, sexual health, women’s health, influencer marketing, or general health and wellness products. Priority will be given to those candidates who have scaled an already successful ecommerce site to the next level in support of ambitious, measurable, profitable goals.

Our fast-growing brand and premium product line continues to bring our brand to life, we want to continue to establish Dr. Anna as a trusted voice and advocate in menopause, hormone treatment options, and sexual health. She really is “The Girlfriend Doctor” – The first call for a woman who has questions she would only ask her best girlfriend… if her girlfriend were a triple-board-certified OB-GYN.

We are looking for a senior developer with a proven track record in managing enterprise-level commerce and funnel development to join our growing team!

Ideal candidate will have advanced experience managing a tech stack that includes Shopify, GIT, WordPress (membership portal), ActiveCampaign, Zapier, Shopify Payments, Subscriptions, Chat Software.

Candidate will also have experience managing and optimizing A/B testing for eComm pages, opt-in pages, landing pages, carts and cart upsells / downsells.

Candidate will have a strong background in SEO, advanced Google Analytics expertise, setting up Google Data Studio dashboards.

EXPERIENCED IN:
**Shopify Theme development
**Shopify Liquid template language
**Shopify CLI
**Git
**JavaScript
**Ruby on Rails (Not essential. Part of what powers our custom bundles is written in Ruby but Shopify is replacing the App we wrote those in with an Admin page more like how Discounts and Upsells are programmed)

SKILLS IN:
**Shopify headless ecommerce (Hydrogen/Oxygen), React, email templates,, Facebook Business Manager are also helpful.
**Candidate should be able to take direction and critical feedback well and have exceptional attention to detail and exceptional time management to complete projects accurately and on schedule.
**This is a high-accountability position, with detailed time tracking, reporting, daily and weekly KPI accountability to ensure our efforts together are successful and the company succeeds.

RESPONSIBILITIES AND EXPECTATIONS INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:
** Developing our website and funnels on the Shopify platform , and third-party tools like Loop Subscriptions, ActiveCampaign, WisePops, Zapier, Typeform, Gorgias, AccessAlly; and optimizing user workflows for conversion.
** Ongoing theme development, using Shopify-CLI, GIT, and Dawn Theme as a base. Exploring and researching tools for site growth, possibly headless infrastructure.
** Implement best-practices for optimizing for search at both the server and back-end level, plus on-page SEO and JSON-LD for proper markup; ability to monitor and troubleshoot security issues, javascript errors, and app issues.
** Systematic approach to development, testing and troubleshooting, including cross-browser compatibility, responsive design and general website performance
** Experience developing and managing Shopify websites in all the necessary development environments including moving updates from dev>staging>live
** Excellent time management skills, with the ability to work and manage organic tasks and priorities within project deadlines.
** Attention to detail and an eye for design, including things like developing pop-ups that are aesthetically pleasing, clean, responsive and intuitive.
** Strong written and verbal english communication skills

TEAM DUTIES AND EXPECTATIONS INCLUDED BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:
** Meet weekly / monthly conversion and optimization goals
** Participate in weekly team meetings and others as needed during office hours
** Collaborate with the Tech Team and Team Lead/Lead Developer in developing, improving, and maintaining the website and tech stack.
** Collaborate with the founder,Director of Content Marketing, and lead funnel developer on funnel strategy to ensure optimization and conversion goals are achieved, and high performance is maintained with increasing traffic
** Work within a fast-paced environment where timeliness, accuracy, and quality of results are prioritized

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
** Strong background (5+ years) in Shopify, Shopify Scripts, Shopify Flow, Shopify theme development / Liquid, WordPress, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, responsive design, and browser troubleshooting
** The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of experience, and be certified in Google Tag Manager, Google Analytics and Google Data Studio.
** Strong background (5+ years) in SEO, advanced Google Analytics expertise,
** Demonstrated track record on building high-converting funnels, setting up advanced tracking to include Google Analytics / ** Google Data Studio dashboards, heatmaps, pixel tracking, and cross-platform tracking
** Demonstrate a solid typing WPM (ideally 55 wpm+)
** Excellent English skills, and able to communicate well both verbally and in writing
** Experience with remote team tools like Time Doctor, Slack, Asana, Google Suite, LastPass, Google Meet

Work Type: Full-Time position
Work schedule: Monday – Friday 3 am – 12 pm CST // 5pm – 2am PH Time.
Salary Range: Php 70,000 – Php 110,000 monthly, DOE.
