Job Description:

We are looking for a Senior Small Claims Specialist who will be responsible for managing and resolving small claims cases in Utah. The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of small claims procedures, strong analytical skills, and a proven track record of success in handling complex cases. This role requires exceptional attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently.

Responsibilities:

– Manage and oversee the entire small claims process, from filing to resolution.
– Conduct thorough research and analysis of small claims cases.
– Prepare and file all necessary legal documents and paperwork.
– Represent the company in small claims court, presenting cases effectively.
– Communicate with clients, witnesses, and opposing parties to gather information and negotiate settlements.
– Provide expert advice and guidance to client on small claims matters.
– Maintain accurate records and documentation of all cases.
– Collaborate with other team members to ensure the best outcomes for clients.
– Follow through with process to collect monies owed

Requirements:

– Bachelor’s degree in Law or related field.
– Minimum of 5 years of experience handling small claims cases.
– In-depth knowledge of small claims court procedures and legal requirements in the US.
– Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
– Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
– Ability to work independently and manage multiple cases simultaneously.
– Proficiency in legal research and case management software.
– High level of professionalism and integrity.
– Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus.
