We are seeking an experienced and passionate Senior Software Development Team Lead/Project Manager part-time to orchestrate a high-performing agile software team. You help lead our software engineers and developers to develop an innovative AI-driven marketing software solution.
In this hands-on leadership role, you will manage the entire software development lifecycle, from planning and requirements gathering to launch and iterations. You will coach and motivate development teams to deliver exceptional products efficiently. With strong communication skills, you will collaborate cross-functionally to align software capabilities to business objectives.
Your responsibilities include:
– Leading all phases of agile development including sprint planning, daily standups, reviews, retrospectives, and deployments
– Managing software project scope, timeline, backlog, and team capacity
– Mentoring and guiding software engineers in design, coding, testing and debugging
– Monitoring team progress and removing impediments to ensure on-time delivery
– Evangelizing agile best practices and leading continuous improvement initiatives
– Reporting on velocity, defects, risk, and delivery metrics to stakeholders
– Identifying resourcing needs and interviewing candidates for open positions
To excel in this role, you should have:
– 9+ years managing agile software teams
– Expert knowledge of agile methodologies like Scrum and Kanban
– Full SDLC expertise from design through deployment
– Excellent leadership, communication, collaboration, and coaching skills
– Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
– (Desired) Experience with Jira, Zoho, Confluence, GitHub and CI/CD tools
