Treantly is a Canadian-based recruitment agency dedicated to bridging the gap between North American businesses and exceptionally talented remote staff in the Philippines. We’re looking for an experienced Accountant for our prestigious client.

Job Responsibilities:
-Manage the day-to-day accounting operations related to revenues, including but not limited to invoicing, revenue recognition, and accounts receivable reconciliation.
-Oversee the billing process, ensuring accuracy and timeliness in issuing invoices and monitoring accounts receivable aging.
Perform regular reconciliations of receivable accounts to ensure accuracy and completeness of transactions.
-Monitor and analyze receivables aging reports, follow up on overdue accounts, and coordinate collections efforts as needed.
-Process and reconcile customer payments, applying cash receipts accurately and efficiently.
-Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports related to revenues and receivables.
-Collaborate with internal stakeholders to resolve any discrepancies or issues related to revenue recognition and receivables.
-Support external audits by providing necessary documentation and explanations related to revenue and receivables transactions.
-Stay updated on accounting standards and regulations related to revenue recognition and receivables management, and ensure compliance with GAAP and other relevant guidelines.
-Contribute to process improvements and efficiency initiatives within the finance department, particularly in the areas of revenue and receivables management.

Must-Have Requirements:
-Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
-CPA certification or actively pursuing CPA designation preferred.
-5 years of relevant experience in accounting, with a focus on revenues, receivables, and receipts.
-Strong understanding of accounting principles, revenue recognition standards, and financial reporting requirements.
-Proficiency in accounting software ( Dynamics) and Microsoft Excel.
-Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
-Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
-Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
-Experience with process improvements and system implementations is a plus.
